Did you know that Yamba was declared to have one of the best climates in the world by Stanford University? Yamba is a beloved holiday destination for many Australians, and we understand why! Play golf and bowl with your new neighbours, or take long walks along the river, there’s always something to keep you busy here.

When you're considering slowing down and retiring from your working life we often look for a quieter and slower (especially if you currently live in a major city) lifestyle. Somewhere where you can still find a parking spot in the main street of town outside the business, cafe you are wanting to go so, park and walk on the beach or stroll along the walkways and know that each day is another great day of life. If this resonates with you, Yamba will fit the bill perfectly.

I'm a born and bred Tasmanian who considers herself lucky to have grown up in such an amazingly beautiful place. But ten years ago, my situation changed and I was free to live wherever I liked. Having family living in and around Yamba, and having spent holidays here it wasn't a hard decision to make. I'd enjoyed all that Tasmania had to offer for well over 50 years and now was my chance to experience a totally new way of life, meet new people and look for new opportunities. In Yamba I've found all that I was looking for and much much more.

Let me share my experiences and knowledge about the area and give you food for thought, "maybe I should move to Yamba?"
